Camp Presmont acknowledges and affirms Christian Camp and Conference Association’s Statement of Faith.
We believe in . . .
• The Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct;
• The Triune God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit;
• The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His substitutionary atonement for sin, His bodily resurrection and His personal, visible return to earth to reign in righteousness and glory;
• The Person of the Holy Spirit and His work of conviction, regeneration, and sanctification, who indwells every believer equipping them with gifts for service and witness;
• The necessity of new birth, in salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone and the importance of a life fully committed to the will of God in Christ; and
• The church as the one universal body of Christ who is the Head, called to be God's redeemed people.

Vision Statement
The vision of Camp Presmont is to provide a place each summer:
• Where children and youth from various backgrounds come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, while being surrounded by a natural environment that speaks powerfully of the Creator.
• Where the counselors and staff’s devotion to Christ is authentic and contagious.
• Where a Christian community, guided and gifted by the Holy Spirit, brings about the transformation of lives for Christian service.

Core Values
Regarding Beliefs: We ascribe to a reformed confession of faith and require all individuals in leadership to do the same.
Regarding The Individuals We Serve: We teach individuals to accept responsibility for their actions and encourage them to become people of integrity, responsibility and commitment in the Lord.
We value each person as an eternal being created in God’s image with inherent dignity and worth.
We believe that every person, no matter how adverse his or her circumstances, is redeemable by God and can live a life of meaning and purpose.
Regarding Leadership: All our staff and leadership know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and regard cultivating their personal relationship with Him as their highest priority and calling.
We are committed to helping each individual attain his or her God-given potential.
Regarding Relational Ministry: God is relational by nature of the Trinity, our staff and leadership is gifted by the Holy Spirit to work together to accomplish our mission.
We regard the counselor / camper interactions to be the closest we can come to emulating Jesus’ relationship with his disciples.
Regarding Volunteers: We will provide opportunities for local churches and the community to use their gifts and resources to serve the youth under the direction and at the discretion of Camp Presmont leadership.
Regarding Finances: We will raise and spend the monies and gifts entrusted to us with the utmost integrity, accountability and openness.
We value good stewardship and living within our budget.
Regarding Facilities: We provide clean, well maintained secure facilities that honor God as an example to youth and the community.

1. Employ creation to bear witness to God’s truth.
Camp Presmont has been blessed with a beautiful place to interact with God. Jesus was a master at using the natural world to illustrate spiritual truths. We carry on the tradition by basing our ministry around sharing the good news through out-of-doors activities.
2. Provide hope through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Ultimately Jesus is the only sure and lasting source of hope. Personal faith in Jesus Christ gives youth the courage to face problems and live their lives in God’s way.
3. Teach the Bible as the true word of God.
The Bible holds the answers to all of life’s important questions. Though many have tried to question its authority and authenticity, its truth has withstood the test of time. Understanding and applying the Bible is vital to living a healthy, balanced and fulfilled life.
4. Embody and demonstrate Christ’s love, compassion and respect to those whom we serve.
Jesus showed us how to reach out to our youth. He treated the children of his day with dignity and respect. He taught, “Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.” (Matt. 18:5)
5. Address emotional needs through Biblical counseling and peer support groups.
Through counseling and peer support groups that focus on the truth of God’s Word, help youth break through layers of denial and self-deception and learn how to apply the principles of forgiveness in their lives.
6. Prevent future problems through youth programs providing Biblical lifestyle training; positive peer groups, leadership training and recreation.
Throughout our 50-year history we have believed that the most effective approach to dealing with life’s problems is prevention. Presmont uses caring, Christian adults as teachers, coaches, mentors, and role models to help youth find the right path in life.
7. Provide ongoing support and guide the youth into service in their local church.
Presmont does not replace the role of the local church, we are merely an extension of it. We encourage our youth to become involved in their local churches where they can develop new, healthy relationships and support networks as they continue to grow in Christ.
8. Involve the Christian community by providing service opportunities at Presmont.
Each year many people gain a greater understanding of the needs of youth in our community through volunteer involvement at Presmont. Service rendered to youth in Jesus name provides a blessing to both those who give and those who receive.
