On Saturday, August 2, the Camp Presmont community gathered for Leadership Wrap-Up to celebrate the completion of the summer camping season. Around forty counselors, program directors, church supporters and trustees came out for the day. In the morning counselors, directors and trustees gathered in the gazebo to discuss how they saw the Lord at work at Camp Presmont. Stories were shared of special moments with campers who came to know the Lord through their Presmont experiences this summer.
The group joined together for an appreciation luncheon/ cookout in which counselors and program directors were honored for their service. Supporters and donors were thanked as well. A “ wall of thanks” in the dining hall also pays tribute to these loyal volunteers.
The entire group gathered in the afternoon for worship in the gazebo, under the leadership of Tim Busch and trustee Rev. Bill Briggs. Bill spoke of how Camp Presmont is “holy ground” and that all of us are missionaries in our service here.
The day was rounded out with boating, volleyball, card games and fellowship that carried on well after the eveing meal. A hearty thanks goes out to all the dedicated and gifted Presmont volunteers who make the ministry to our campers possible. You are our most valuable resource!
